🧟‍♂️ If The World Ends…We’re Absolutely Judging Who Survives

No zombies yet.
 But hypothetically?
 We’ve already picked teams.

This week on Twin Tangents, Anthony and Nalee spiral into full apocalypse mode and ask the important questions:

If society collapses… who are we saving?
 Where are we bunkering?
And who is absolutely getting voted off the island?

👉 Audio listeners: if you want to see the faces that say “you would not survive,” head over to YouTube. The judgment is visual.

We’re talking:

🏪 Bunker strategy debates → Walmart vs. Costco vs. chaos, divide-and-conquer survival tactics
🧠 Resourcefulness ranking → who has actual skills and who just thinks they do
👀 Friend group dynamics under pressure → leaders, liabilities, quiet masterminds, and emotional support roles
🫀 The appendix debate → where is it? does it matter? are we medically qualified? (no.)
🔥 Unhinged survival plans → strict rules, loyalty tests, exile policies, and zero tolerance for incompetence
🧟 Handling the infected → hard choices, moral gray areas, and who hesitates too long
🥩 The cannibalism dilemma → would we? could we? who gets eaten first?

Cold Open And Premise

NALEE

Oh my God. Okay. All right. Are we recording?

SPEAKER_01

Mm-hmm.

NALEE

Mm-hmm. Okay. All right. Well, if the apocalypse started right now, Anthony would probably try to Google it.

ANTHONY

I resent that, but I think that Nolly would try to film a get ready with me. While society collapses around us.

NALEE

Priorities matter.

Meet The Hosts And The Bit

ANTHONY

Okay. Well. Welcome to Twin Tangents, the only podcast preparing you for disaster with absolutely zero credentials.

NALEE

I'm Nolly. I don't run. I don't fight. But I will emotionally narrate the downfall of humanity.

ANTHONY

And I'm Anthony.

NALEE

If I could speak properly. Sorry.

ANTHONY

Yeah, if you could speak properly, that would probably help us out a little bit. No, I'm sorry. And I'm Anthony. I own one flashlight and think that that's enough, which actually is not the truth.

NALEE

All right. Well, today we are discussing how we'd survive the apocalypse.

ANTHONY

Or more realistically.

NALEE

How long we'd last before becoming background characters.

ANTHONY

I'm gonna throw you to the whoops here. I'm giving a spoiler alert to all of our listeners. I think that Nolly's character is going to be giving the limited series in this situation. I got this all planned out in my head.

NALEE

Okay.

ANTHONY

End of the world. I'm safe.

NALEE

I think they'll survive pretty long, actually, but we'll see.

ANTHONY

Not after a few panic moments, though, right?

NALEE

Probably, yeah.

ANTHONY

Yeah.

NALEE

I mean, I'd probably have a broken leg, like maybe a broken toe. Not a whole leg, but maybe a toe. And then I'd probably cry over that. But we'll see.

ANTHONY

Yeah, if I broke a bone, it would probably be game over.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, probably.

ANTHONY

Yeah. Alright.

SPEAKER_06

Well.

ANTHONY

Please, by all means, lead us into the apocalypse.

NALEE

Alright. So the first segment is who's surviving and who's getting bit first.

ANTHONY

Before anybody starts looting Target or Walmart.

NALEE

Respectfully, essentials only, candles, snack, face masks.

ANTHONY

We need to establish something important.

Who Survives First Contact

NALEE

Who in our lives is actually built for this? Alright, so we have a couple topics here. The first one is I've watched The Walking Dead twice, expert. That's me, straight off the bat. Yeah, I'm gonna be Michonne. I uh I yeah, I'm gonna have that that machete or that Samura sword, and I'm gonna have like the two. If you've seen The Walking Dead, or if you haven't seen it, spoiler alert, but yeah, I'm gonna have Michonne with two puppies. Not two puppies, but two like puppets. Got to go.

ANTHONY

Puppies. Yeah. If anybody hasn't seen The Walking Dead, you you what are you living under a fucking rock?

NALEE

Yeah. Like it's literally ended and they have like 10 spin-offs right now.

ANTHONY

Oh my god. I I tried to watch the spin-offs, I couldn't do it. Could not do it.

NALEE

I don't think I've watched yet. I I can't, I can't, I can't watch the spin-offs. Maybe Daryl's spin-off and maybe Negan's spin-off with Maggie, but that's about it. I'm watching, I'm not watching anything else.

ANTHONY

I couldn't. I tried to do Daryl's spin-off and I was like, Daryl's such a good character, I'll be able to do this.

NALEE

And was it bad?

ANTHONY

Yeah, I couldn't get into it. I was just, I'm I mean, I'm just trying to understand how you get from like where were they? Georgia? Making Georgia. And he now like his spin-off, he's in Paris. He's in France.

NALEE

Oh, is he?

ANTHONY

Yeah.

NALEE

How'd he make it there?

ANTHONY

Exactly. I I got nothing. He got airlifted.

SPEAKER_04

Magically, he teleported.

ANTHONY

Yeah, magically he got airlifted.

SPEAKER_04

He teleported.

ANTHONY

Actually, I think that's what happened. Now that you mention that.

SPEAKER_04

I can't.

ANTHONY

I think he got airlifted because I think there's some like secret military.

SPEAKER_04

Are you being sarcastic here?

ANTHONY

No, I'm being serious. I think that like near the ending of The Walking Dead, I think there was like back and forth where there was like a secret military base. Because there's also there's also the conspiracy or the question that's been raised that like Rick didn't actually die.

NALEE

He died?

ANTHONY

Did you not watch The Walking Dead?

NALEE

I did not watch it till the end. I couldn't Okay.

ANTHONY

I couldn't watch it till the end.

NALEE

Oh, it's okay.

ANTHONY

It went downhill. It went downhill. Oh yeah, I did.

NALEE

I like I watched it twice, but the second time, I don't the first time, I don't think I watched it all the way through. I stopped where like Negan kind of came in and took the whole crew. And then I was like, okay, this is getting too much. Although I do love him, I'm like, eh. And then I watched the second time, and then I I couldn't get past Glen Glenn's thing. And so I'm like, I can't. I can't.

ANTHONY

They did him dirty.

NALEE

They did him so dirty. Again, spoiler alert. If you are watching The Walking Dead or you have not been there yet, yeah. It's pretty traumatic.

ANTHONY

Go back and rewatch it. I did go back because I stopped kind of like around the time that Negan came into place.

Walking Dead Canon As Training

NALEE

I think we re watched it around the same time, if I remember correctly. But I just didn't personally.

ANTHONY

I just did it last year.

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

Yeah.

NALEE

Same.

ANTHONY

And I I f I finished. And then I went on, I wanted to watch everything in like in chronological order. So I went after I finished The Walking Dead, then I went on to fear the Walking Dead.

NALEE

Okay.

ANTHONY

Yeah, I couldn't get into that.

NALEE

I couldn't get into that one.

ANTHONY

I was That one wasn't that good. But then I tried that.

NALEE

Is that the one with just Rick and Michonne?

ANTHONY

No. No. It was with the whole, a whole different cast. And I think in memory serves me right, there was a crossover. But anyway, getting off of the show itself, so do you think that you would be able to survive a zombie apocalypse?

NALEE

I think I would for maybe a couple of months. I wouldn't say years. Really? But maybe a couple of months. Yeah. I'd say close to maybe a year. And then I think if anything, I'd just be like, okay, eat me now, kill me now. Or I don't know. I feel like I would survive, actually. I'm pretty resourceful. I think I would survive.

unknown

Yeah.

ANTHONY

I think I would survive too.

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

Yeah. 100%.

NALEE

Damn. I think we'd be really skinny though.

unknown

Okay.

ANTHONY

Is that a are we complaining about that fact?

NALEE

No, no, no. Trying to imagine that because I would love that for the both of us.

ANTHONY

I think we would getting skinny at the hands of a zombie apocalypse.

NALEE

Yeah, yeah.

ANTHONY

Okay.

NALEE

But yeah. I'd love that for us. What about you? Do you think you would survive?

ANTHONY

100%.

NALEE

Using long term?

ANTHONY

Yeah. Oh, yeah.

NALEE

Do you think Richard would survive?

ANTHONY

No.

NALEE

There's no golf, so I don't think he would either.

ANTHONY

No. No.

NALEE

Do you think Melissa would survive?

ANTHONY

No.

NALEE

You don't think so?

ANTHONY

No. I feel like Melissa would. One of two things are gonna happen here.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

ANTHONY

She's either just gonna end it herself.

NALEE

Probably.

ANTHONY

Or she's gonna be like, hey, Mr. Zombie, you're attractive. And she's gonna twerk.

NALEE

Face down ass up, and then she's gonna get her ass actually eaten.

SPEAKER_00

Get eaten, yeah.

NALEE

Yeah, like legit.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

NALEE

I cannot. I cannot imagine that. That'd be a horrible porn.

ANTHONY

Well, just Oh my god. I wonder if there is a porn that's out there like that.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, oh, I'm sure that A Walking Dead themed probably is.

NALEE

You find out for us. You find out for us.

ANTHONY

Okay, that'll be the number one thing that I Google tonight.

NALEE

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

ANTHONY

Yeah, that's what I want to appear in my Google search history.

NALEE

Well, you have a lot of stuff already, so it's fine.

ANTHONY

That's true. No, honestly though, I don't think Melissa would survive just because.

NALEE

Yeah, I don't think she would either.

ANTHONY

Once we got to that point where it was like you can't just order in fucking Taco Bell or go and get food.

NALEE

You can't go to Red Lobster anymore. Yeah. She's gonna be like, I'm done. It's over.

ANTHONY

Lord take me now.

NALEE

Yeah, yeah.

ANTHONY

Yep. Yeah.

NALEE

Yeah. I could see that happening.

ANTHONY

Do you do you think Richard do you think I would survive?

NALEE

I think you would survive. I think we probably would be like what is it? I think we would survive. We'd be the add-on to the to the we'd be Negan and Maggie. Yeah, maybe not Maggie, but who would okay. I feel like we would survive. Who do you think you would be in the show? Like as the characters right now, like, or the characters from The Walking Dead. Who do you think you would be? I think I would be Carol. I think I'd be the I'd be like, Yeah, I love Carol. I'd be like the weakling, and then bam, she's a badass bitch. She's the last one to be.

ANTHONY

She was a boss ass bitch.

NALEE

Yeah, I think I'd be her for sure. Um You'd be Carol. I'll be like Carol. Carl? No, not Carl. Coral. Coral. Carl. Yeah, yeah. No, no, no.

ANTHONY

I feel like I would be Carl minus the the death. And like I'd keep both my eyes.

NALEE

Carl dies too? I can't.

ANTHONY

I can't with you. He even loses his eye. He got shot in the eye.

SPEAKER_04

You threw your arm. I can't.

ANTHONY

It's like, what are we even doing here?

Could We Really Survive

NALEE

Yeah, literally. Why are we even talking about this? Oh, okay. Well, I know he loses his eye, but does I don't think he actually dies, does he?

ANTHONY

Yeah.

unknown

He does.

ANTHONY

He comes a zombie.

NALEE

Oh no.

ANTHONY

Spoiler alert. Oh god, I was so happy. I hated that character.

NALEE

Oh, really?

ANTHONY

Oh my god. He was sad. I wish he would have died sooner.

NALEE

Damn.

ANTHONY

I was gonna say, I feel like I'm 12 and I have a gun. I'm gonna go into this big locked-in cage with these 1800 zombies. I can handle it. Good fucking riddles. Get eaten. I died.

SPEAKER_04

Good fucking riddles.

ANTHONY

Die, Carl. Die.

SPEAKER_04

Oh my god.

ANTHONY

It was like everything that you shouldn't do as a child in a zombie apocalypse. He was like, I can do it because my daddy has a gun and he taught me how to shoot.

SPEAKER_04

Pew pew.

ANTHONY

Pew pew. Yeah. Exactly.

NALEE

What was his wife's name? What was I can't ever remember her name.

ANTHONY

Sarah.

NALEE

No, not Sarah.

ANTHONY

Wasn't it?

NALEE

It's not Sarah.

ANTHONY

Oh, that was her character in Prison Break.

NALEE

I can't think of her name right now.

ANTHONY

Yeah, what was her name?

NALEE

That's who I would imagine Melissa as.

ANTHONY

Really?

NALEE

Pregnant. Yeah, get pregnant.

ANTHONY

But she was a badass. I was so sad and so mad that they killed her off and the way that they killed her off.

NALEE

Are you trying to say Melissa's not a badass? Excuse me?

ANTHONY

I don't think Melissa's a badass, like that character.

NALEE

If there was a zombie apocalypse. She'd be she'd be the sister. She'd be the you know the two sisters. Yeah, she'd be Lori. I feel like that'd be her.

ANTHONY

Lori Gri Lori Grimes. That was the mom's name.

NALEE

Lori, yes, Lori.

ANTHONY

You think Melissa would be the two sisters?

NALEE

Yeah, I think she'd be the one that ends up sleeping with what's his name? The governor.

ANTHONY

What?

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

What sisters are you talking about?

NALEE

Because you know how, like, in the beginning they were sisters, and then one of the sisters became a zombie, and then she's like the blonde.

ANTHONY

Are you talking about Maggie and her sister?

NALEE

Stop Maggie, no. Is her name Maggie? It's not Maggie.

ANTHONY

Maggie and the blonde girl were sisters.

NALEE

Neither one of them slept with the main with the No, in the very beginning, you remember the the old man with the RV, right? And then there were two sisters, and then she had to kill her sister who turned into a zombie.

ANTHONY

Yeah, that would not be Melissa.

NALEE

You don't think so?

ANTHONY

Hell no.

NALEE

Okay, never mind then. Well, I was giving her the benefit of the doubt. Clearly, you don't. You're not giving her the benefit of the doubt, but I don't know. I thought I feel like she survived for a little bit.

ANTHONY

Oh, she would survive for a little bit.

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

But then it would be like, I ain't about this life.

NALEE

Yeah, yeah.

ANTHONY

Not bashing you, Melissa.

NALEE

We love you.

ANTHONY

Just stating facts.

NALEE

We love you and we don't judge.

ANTHONY

We listen and we don't judge. We love you and we don't judge. I love that.

NALEE

Yeah, I meant to say that on purpose. All right. What was your topic? What was one of your topics?

ANTHONY

Well, I was just gonna call myself out here. I would probably be the one who says that like I'm not built for it, which I truly am not built for it, but I would not accept my fate.

NALEE

Okay, I could see that. Yeah, I could see that.

ANTHONY

Like, death is my number one fear.

NALEE

Is it?

ANTHONY

And like, yeah. Oh my gosh. If I sit here and I think about it too long, I will have a panic attack and I will start hyperventilating. So death is not an option for me. I will survive. I will persevere and I will survive that for as long as I can. I will fucking I will make a shiv out of a bed frame. I will I can be resourceful as far as like fighting back.

NALEE

What would be the first thing that you collect?

ANTHONY

The first thing that I would collect?

Roles We’d Play In The Apocalypse

NALEE

Yeah. Like if you found out that I don't know, the cities has like the twin cities, like Minnesota, has erupted like a zombie, whatever, and it hasn't reached Eau Claire yet. What would be the first thing you collect?

ANTHONY

My family, probably.

NALEE

Okay. I meant like material-wise, like guns, food, shelter, cars.

ANTHONY

Okay. So this is actually something that I have You've thought about? Yeah. So I I was actually gonna discuss this in a later in one of our later segments, but I'll just do it now. So I already have a plan in place that in the event of a zombie apocalypse, and I'm just gonna tell everybody my plan right now.

NALEE

So it's all because you want us all to survive, right? Not just hell. Hell no!

ANTHONY

Hell no. We just got done talking about how fucking shitty society is. I'm ready for the world to implode and us to start.

SPEAKER_04

You ready for the population control?

ANTHONY

Hell yes. Hell yes. But no, I already haven't planned. So divide and conquer, right? So I'll let you in on this plan. You you I would bring with me because I know that you would persevere like me.

SPEAKER_06

Yes.

ANTHONY

So here's what we do: Menards, Target, Walmart, and Sam's Club.

NALEE

What about Shields? Okay. They have guns.

ANTHONY

Shields has guns. So does Walmart and Sam's Club.

NALEE

Oh, yeah, Walmart does have guns. Okay, fuck Shields. Never mind.

ANTHONY

That's just No, I mean we could okay. Here's the thing. We could even do that if we get one more person in on it. So we have the Mall, Walmart, and Sam's Club, Target, and Menards.

NALEE

Surprised you didn't say Costco. Costco's closer to us or to me.

ANTHONY

Yeah, but it's all the way out there. See, these are close proximity to each other. And so what we have to do is we have to.

NALEE

Oh, yeah, they're all in they're all in one area. You're right.

ANTHONY

Barricade the doors, get on the inside, barricade the doors so nobody can get in. Start drilling and digging so we have tunnels connecting the mall, Target, Menards, Walmart. Boom. I've thought about this.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, goodbye.

ANTHONY

The only problem is I don't know which one has the jackhammer, which is where we're really gonna need to start to start going.

NALEE

Menards. Menards.

ANTHONY

Menards. There we go. And they have forklifts. We could make our own makeshift like tractor to like put the dirt in, move the piles of dirt.

NALEE

They got gates there too.

ANTHONY

Yep. See?

NALEE

So okay.

ANTHONY

And all the everything that we need to make weapons. So that would be the place to start. So we divide and conquer. We each barricade our own little The Mall is gonna be the hard part.

NALEE

I see you.

ANTHONY

The mall is gonna be the hard part. So I think what we would have to do is we'd have to start in Shields, close the gate, and then over time we'll be able to start venturing out. But then we have Walmart, we got the food. We got Target, we got food.

NALEE

Well, at the mall there's food too.

ANTHONY

Exactly. And at the mall there's food too. So that'll buy us a little bit before we have to like actually like go out there and start.

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

Yeah. Yeah.

unknown

Okay.

ANTHONY

What would what what would you do?

NALEE

Well, for me, I would try to find wherever is like the highest ground, and then kind of see what different stores, like you said, is around. And then from there start to collect stuff. Like obviously Walmart, Sam's Club, Shields, like I offered to you, and kind of go from there, like collect anything and everything that I can.

ANTHONY

See, but the only problem with that is that's gonna be everybody's instinct is to go to start like hoarding stuff.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, that's true.

ANTHONY

So nobody's gonna think about like hunkering down and locking down in place. So that's my only argument.

NALEE

But that's what I'm saying. I would go and find a place that's high ground. Because you know, like if you have if you are on high ground, you could kind of see everything. And then from there, I would plot out how I'm gonna get there, where I could go. Like I could see blind spots of like, oh, okay, there's a lot, there could be a lot of traffic here. I could take this route, or kind of map out like trails that I could take, or you know, plan out places that, okay, well, you know, this is where a lot of people are gonna be. Let's avoid that and stuff like that. Because I feel like mapping out is probably the best thing to do first, so that you know exactly where everything is at, and then you come up with a plan of like, okay, if this is blocked, we have this route. If this is blocked, we have this other route. And this is how I'm gonna get here, even if it's not underground tunnels. You know what I mean?

ANTHONY

But we already live in Eau Claire, so we sure we already know the area.

NALEE

Yeah, but there's for me, there's areas that I haven't gone to where I don't know certain places. Yeah. I literally only know how to go to the stores and come back. That's why I have no money.

ANTHONY

Baby girl. What do we say? What do we say? Failing to prepare is preparing to fail. I am waiting to the apocalypse. I got this shit on block.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

ANTHONY

It's all up here. Soon as I get wind that it's in the cities, I'm over at Menard's. I'm over at Menard's. Okay.

NALEE

All right, okay. I see you. I got you.

The Eau Claire Survival Plan

ANTHONY

I ain't gonna go to the store and be like, oh, I'm gonna get myself some chips and some crackers and some popcorn. I'm gonna buy all the food and the water, and then I'm gonna go home. Bitch, what the hell is my home gonna do? I don't wanna be in this little house for the apocalypse. I'd be that person buying chips and shit. And then I'll be in like, I'll be in Walmart and be like, now I got a big screen TV.

unknown

Ping.

ANTHONY

I got a nice I got all these TVs. I can watch TV. I got myself a nice little sectional over here.

NALEE

Okay, next question. What, okay, let's say if you could only stay in one store, what store would that be? Like any store, but if the apocalypse happened and they say, okay, you could bunker up in one store only, and that's it. You can't travel anywhere. You could only stay in that one store for the next year. Where would you stay?

ANTHONY

Costco. Then I would choose Costco. Costco doesn't sell guns, though. I don't think.

NALEE

Yeah, they don't. I don't think they do.

ANTHONY

They don't sell guns, but they have those big ass freezers. Think like all the eggs that they have. They have ovens because they make their own pastries and meals there. They got We're talking about getting skinny during the apocalypse, but I think we're gonna get even- Well, I'm just say- No, I'm just saying as far as like living for a year, it's gonna have everything that I'm gonna need to sustain a life there.

NALEE

And they're probably gonna have does Sam's Club have guns?

ANTHONY

Yes.

NALEE

Do they? I don't think I've ever seen guns at Sam's Club. Like back then, I know that like maybe 10 years ago, they probably did, but not right now.

ANTHONY

You would think Walmart sells guns.

NALEE

Yeah. But yeah, I don't know. Yeah, I'd say either Sam's or Costco is where I'd I'd hold up.

ANTHONY

Yeah.

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

A hundred percent. Yeah. What else do you mean?

NALEE

I kinda like where this conversation. Going. Okay.

ANTHONY

I'm telling you, if it ever happens, I'm gonna survive.

NALEE

How will you a that's pretty much it? I think like yeah. I think that's it.

ANTHONY

Divide and conquer and Divide and Conquer, have a team.

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

That's the biggest thing is have.

NALEE

I don't think I would I don't think like I think if it was with my mom and my dad, I don't think I'd die. Because my mom, she has a green thumb and she can plan anything anywhere. And my dad, he has like very good aim.

SPEAKER_00

Does he?

NALEE

So yeah, he has really good aim.

ANTHONY

Like with guns?

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

Oh.

NALEE

So yeah, he could teach me how to like pew pew, you know?

ANTHONY

Yeah. I feel like I feel like I would love to learn to shoot a gun. It's on my bucket list. Like I really want to go to the shooting range and like I believe that it's fun.

NALEE

Yeah, it's fun.

ANTHONY

I'm not a I'm not one for guns, but like obviously in the apocalypse, you don't really have a choice.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

ANTHONY

But I think that I also think that it would be fun, like, to go up on the roof of like Walmart or Menards and like shooting people?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

ANTHONY

Not shooting people. Shooting zombies. Zombies.

NALEE

They were once people, Anthony.

ANTHONY

Once people? Do you think what's that have to do with price for ice in China?

NALEE

Do you do you think you'll have that like moral like thing where you're like, oh, you used to be a human, I can't even. Hell no. Stab stab stab. Hell no. Okay.

ANTHONY

Pew, pew, motherfucker.

NALEE

Period. Good. I needed to make sure so that I could rely on you. Because I think there may be times that I'd feel that way. Like if it's a little kid, I feel like I'd be like, I'm sorry. But then I'd stab them in the head or something. You would kick them. I know that for a fact.

ANTHONY

That's what I was thinking. I was like, this is if it's a kid, it's gonna be more like soccer practice.

SPEAKER_04

Score. Yep. That'd be you. School. Period.

ANTHONY

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. What's this?

ANTHONY

Um well wait, I ha okay. So now I have a question.

NALEE

Okay.

ANTHONY

Um also I just wanna, I'm gonna name myself. I would probably be in the event of a an apocalypse, I would be that calm friend that has like a go bag.

NALEE

I think I would too. I feel like in the back of my closet, my go bag would be fucking huge.

ANTHONY

Makeup?

NALEE

No, it'd be big. It's big, huh? It big now turn around and twerk.

ANTHONY

Face down ass up.

NALEE

I feel like I would. I think if the po apocalypse comes, I'm not gonna care about fucking makeup. I probably won't care about clothes. I think if anything, I'd pack more undergarment than like regular clothes.

ANTHONY

What do you mean? Like underwear?

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

Why?

NALEE

Because I can't stand wearing like the same thing like for consecutive days. Like I have to change it like every so often.

ANTHONY

Okay. I feel like that's fair.

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

Like that was the one thing that I thought was so gross when I was watching The Walking Dead. I'm like, bitch, you've been wearing the same fucking shirt for the last two seasons. How y'all ain't janky nasty. Yes.

NALEE

Yeah. How you surviving. But yeah, I'd probably have like maybe two pairs of clothes, like, I don't know, 20 days worth of underwear, bras, I probably wouldn't really care. And then I would have like a thousand bags of like beef jerky if possible.

ANTHONY

And then That I couldn't do. That part I would if there was no food and I had to solely rely on like capturing my own food. Animals, I wouldn't be able to do it.

NALEE

So then you wouldn't survive.

ANTHONY

I would find alternatives.

NALEE

What if they're like, oh, what if everything's been eaten and you have to now kill a rat to eat it? Or you have to kill a squirrel or a pig.

ANTHONY

Well, that's where that's where my my group would come in. I won't kill it.

NALEE

You're like, step in, y'all. It's your turn. Step in.

ANTHONY

And if if I'm on my own, I guess I'm a vegetarian, then I'm gonna start eating grass. Acorns. Like corn's good.

NALEE

Corn's good.

ANTHONY

No, he said acorns. Oh like squirrel acorns. Like.

High Ground And Mapping Routes

NALEE

Oh. What do you eat? What do you mean? If it's an acorn. Like what part of it do you eat? Like the whole seed?

ANTHONY

I guess I'll find out. Isn't it just like nuts?

NALEE

I don't know. I'm not a squirrel.

ANTHONY

I'm not a squirrel either. I don't fucking know.

NALEE

I don't know.

ANTHONY

I'm just saying, I'm not gonna be able to kill something and eat it.

NALEE

Would you be able to eat worms? Does that do anything? Worms.

ANTHONY

It's sustenance. I I mean, I don't think that I could eat so ghost. No, because I can never eat something like moving in my mouth.

NALEE

Ugh. I almost just made myself puke. You know, worm is just like dirt. Like they just eat dirt.

ANTHONY

I remember when I was in elementary school, I remember we were on the playground, and this kid that was in my class, his name was Steven. I remember us being out there and he was like digging and pulling out worms and he was like eating them, and I think he got up to like eight or seven worms that he ate at recess after lunch, mind you.

NALEE

Oh, he must have been hungry. Don't judge him.

ANTHONY

Bish, I ain't gonna eat no worms. Okay, so I have a question for you with regards to this. So, Apocalypse, you can have five people in your life with you. You could or let me rephrase it, you can warn five people, like, hey, here's my plan. I'm going to Menards, I'm gonna hunker down, I'm gonna get everybody fucking out of there, and I'm making that my new like sanctuary. Five people who you taking.

NALEE

Oh, five is really tight. Okay, well, you obviously. Oh, thank you. One of my sister, because I know once one of my sisters knows, all of them are gonna know. And if all of them are gonna know, let's see. Probably probably my law, because that bitch tells everybody everything. So probably her.

ANTHONY

So wait, you would take her?

NALEE

No, you said to tell and warn, didn't you?

ANTHONY

Yeah, like oh no, I meant like, okay, you can tell five people, hey, the apocalypse is coming. There's a zombie apocalypse. I'm meeting at Menard's, and we're gonna barricade the place and we're gonna make that our sanctuary.

NALEE

That's a hard decision.

ANTHONY

I know, that's why I asked you because I know that you have all the siblings.

NALEE

Yeah. Okay, you know what, y'all, don't hate me.

ANTHONY

I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna This is like when they ask Chris Jenner who her favorite child was.

NALEE

Or to or when they ask him to like put her sisters in order from Oh, I feel like I'm gonna be a lot of backlash for this from my siblings.

ANTHONY

Yeah.

NALEE

Okay, well, first of all, one would be Linda, because Linda's very resourceful. She's like our big mama bear. She knows how to butcher stuff, so she will take care of that for me. She knows how to like cut stuff and stuff. Maybe my brother. Because we're we're thinking realistically about how to survive, and we want to. Hell yeah. So one would probably Linda. The other one would be my my one of my older brothers. His name is I call him VL, but is that the one that has the pharmacy? No, that's Lawrence. Probably not Lawrence, because I feel like I mean, he has the supply, but like my he has the supply, but my other brother, he also has supplies too, and he actually hunts. Like he's a he'll be Daryl. He'll be the Daryl of the group. I'm not saying that my brother Lawrence doesn't know how to do that, but I think my other brother, he is a little bit more like talented in that part. And again, we're talking about five people, so don't hate on me. So I'm trying to think realistically and logically.

ANTHONY

So we have you, Linda, and then my brother.

NALEE

His name is Valing, but I call him VL.

ANTHONY

VL. Okay. And then Which, by the way, is a little close to Vishall, so a little judgment there.

NALEE

Vashal. That's not his original name. His original name is Zhang, but they changed it. Or whatever. Anyways, I know Pali will probably die real quick because she can't survive. She's like Melissa. She's a Melissa 2.0, so she ain't gonna survive. I know that.

ANTHONY

I love you, Polly, but I don't see a future for you.

NALEE

I don't see a future with you. So we got three. And then maybe you, because you cook American food and there's a lot of like white people food in the area. If we can't rely on Asian food, we'll rely on white people food. So we're gonna need that.

ANTHONY

And I'm gonna say, as far as that white people food goes, I can easily like stretch it out and make like a bomb ass meal out of like fucking instant potatoes.

NALEE

Like, exactly. Yes.

ANTHONY

Yeah.

NALEE

And then my last spot, let's see. Hmm. Wait, am I included within the five? Or do I have five with me?

ANTHONY

Five and then you.

NALEE

Oh, okay, okay, okay. So I have two more spots. Because I have Linda, I have Linda, I have you, and then I have Valing, which is VL. So I have two more spots. Because I'm not included in this, right?

ANTHONY

Oh, that's right. Yeah, yeah. Okay, so you got two spots.

NALEE

Let's see. Right?

ANTHONY

Yeah.

NALEE

Yes, two spots. Okay, now that I'm thinking realistically, I don't have enough people to fill the five spots.

ANTHONY

Really?

NALEE

Let's see.

ANTHONY

Okay, I'm just gonna ask.

NALEE

Maybe my boo. Because I'm gonna need a I'ma need to repopulate the earth somehow.

ANTHONY

Can't fuck a zombie.

NALEE

Yes, and then we can't be Melissa out here. Um and then have one more spot. Let's see. Trying to think of my friends who's resourceful, but I feel like I feel like they'd I don't know. Who's a fast runner? I need a fast runner. Okay, Linda, Valing, you.

ANTHONY

What do you need a fast runner for?

NALEE

So, like, if we're like, hey, I need you to go they could be the Glen of the group. Like, I need you to go out. Okay. Yeah, and come come back. Again, I'm gonna get a la hey for this, but I feel like Anzie could run pretty fast. So probably Anzie.

ANTHONY

You feel it? Like, have you seen Anzie run?

NALEE

I have not seen her run, but I feel like she could run fast. Because I've seen her when she's drunk. So yeah.

ANTHONY

Okay, so I'm gonna address the elephant in the room here. I'm really surprised that you first of all, I'm very honored that you said me. I did not expect you to.

NALEE

I would switch you out with Kiki, though. Too. Like, let's say if you had your own group. Let's just say if you had your own group and you're like, yeah, bye, girl. I would switch you out with Kiki because she's the same where she could like whip up something, like, even if it's really simple.

ANTHONY

Okay, so two things.

NALEE

And I feel like all of us could do that in my group. All of us could probably do that.

ANTHONY

Yes. So two things with that. So, first off, the elephant in the room that I was addressing was I'm really truly surprised that you didn't say your mom and dad. You know, they brought you into this world, but apparently you're gonna take them out.

NALEE

I would I would bring my mom and my dad. Of course, I would bring my mom and my dad.

ANTHONY

But you just hit five people. They're it you didn't mention them.

NALEE

I know. But I'm trying to think realistically. Like, obviously, I feel like my mom and my dad would be like, don't worry about us. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

Go-Bags, Food, And Morals

NALEE

So I have to be like, okay, if I'm thinking about survivor mode, yeah, of course. I would be, I'd probably go crazy and be like, damn, I can't believe I left them because they wanted me to leave them or whatever. I think I would probably go crazy. If I had a bigger list of survival stuff, then yes, I would bring my mom and my dad, obviously. But if we're thinking about, okay, if tomorrow was a was the I was gonna say the Holocaust. If tomorrow was apocalypse. Well, well, yeah, you know, but if tomorrow was the apocalypse and I needed to survive, I'm not saying that my mom and my dad wouldn't survive. I feel like they would, but I'm just saying if we have five people and they were like, hey, who are the five people you're gonna call and these are like the people that you're gonna survive with? Yes, those are the people that I'm gonna pick.

ANTHONY

Okay.

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

So I would actually encourage you, and I would not be mad if you replaced me with Kiki. And here is why.

unknown

Okay.

ANTHONY

I feel like with us, if we each had our own groups, we could become a big group. Or just allies, right? Because I'm not gonna stab you in the back. I would like to think that you're not gonna stab me in the back. So it would be a good source to like again divide and conquer.

NALEE

Networking. Yeah.

ANTHONY

We'd have to create our own network.

unknown

Yeah.

ANTHONY

Because otherwise we're gonna run into a group like Negan.

NALEE

And we get our ass cooked.

ANTHONY

I get cooked.

NALEE

I don't think I would get cooked either. I don't think my group would. Alright, what about you? What are your five?

ANTHONY

I haven't thought this through.

NALEE

Well, gun pointed to your head. You have five people right now. Who are you gonna pick?

ANTHONY

Okay, so I'm not gonna pick you because I'm gonna trust that you're gonna have your own group.

NALEE

Oh god, gun pointed at my head.

ANTHONY

I'm like, yeah, I'm screwed. I don't have. I feel like part of me would pick my uncle.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. So he wouldn't have to call you on your cell phone, he could just tell you live.

ANTHONY

Yeah. No, because he was in the military, so I feel like he he would be able he he would be an asshole. Like, yeah, I feel like he would stand a decent chance surviving.

NALEE

Nice. Okay.

ANTHONY

I have no idea. And I'm trying to think logistically here. I think you were you hit it right on the head, whereas like who can run fast? I don't think that I have any friends that can actually like run fast.

NALEE

Rude. But then again, I'm in my own group, so I guess you Yeah.

ANTHONY

I was like, do you think you can run fast?

NALEE

I feel like I could run fast, yeah.

ANTHONY

I can't.

NALEE

Not for a long, not for a long time, but I could run fast.

ANTHONY

Girl, you gotta last more than a fucking block.

NALEE

I feel like I'd last for more than a block.

ANTHONY

Good for you.

NALEE

If I get back into running.

SPEAKER_04

If I get back into running, there's a magic grade.

ANTHONY

My uncle for his military background, my friend Carol, because she can do like woodworking.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

ANTHONY

She can build stuff. She can like sew. Sew clothing.

unknown

Okay.

ANTHONY

Um wounds. I'm trying to think.

NALEE

Oh, I forget about that.

ANTHONY

That's why I was a little surprised that you wouldn't bring your brother because I mean, he he's a pharmacist, right?

NALEE

It's not, it's he's not a pharmacist. It's my sister-in-law that's a pharmacist.

ANTHONY

Okay, well that changes things.

NALEE

But I could be the I could be the wound repair, because I was an EMT. So I got that.

ANTHONY

But we need we would need somebody with like medical background for like Bitch, me, I got medical background. Really? You're gonna know what to do with my appendix bursts.

NALEE

Yeah. Call 911.

ANTHONY

Done. This podcast is over. Thank you for tuning in. Yeah.

NALEE

If you're if your appendix burst, I would first try to find like something for you to bite on so that I could open it up and I could try to cut it out. And then I would move back.

Building The Five-Person Squad

ANTHONY

I already see red flags. You're saying, so I could try to open you up. I can try to take it out. Next thing I know, she's gonna have my heart in one hand. She's like, I don't know. Is this the appendix?

NALEE

It's really beating. No, I know where stuff is. I know where stuff is.

ANTHONY

Where's the appendix?

NALEE

I'm gonna look stupid. I may look stupid.

ANTHONY

What side of your body is your appendix on?

NALEE

It's on your left side.

ANTHONY

Is it?

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

Are you sure about that?

NALEE

I'm positive it's on your left side.

ANTHONY

The front or the back?

NALEE

It's in the back. What is it on then?

ANTHONY

I think it's on your left side, but I think it's in the front.

NALEE

I don't know.

ANTHONY

Because normally don't they go in through your abdomen?

NALEE

Yeah, but it's like it's not really in the front or the back. It's like uh it's like behind your gut. So technically, it's not really in the back or the front, it's like in the middle.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

NALEE

But we will find our way. Anyways, and then to cauterize it, I will burn your skin.

ANTHONY

So you're gonna cauterize it instead of just like sewing me back like a normal surgeon would.

SPEAKER_04

It's better to uh cauterize it and like heal the wound than to do it.

SPEAKER_00

I don't think that's true.

SPEAKER_04

I don't think that's accurate. I feel like we will always have alcohol so I could like sterilize your wound.

ANTHONY

The best part of Costco. Oh, yeah.

NALEE

You gotta do what you gotta do.

ANTHONY

That would be in my go bag, a sewing kit.

NALEE

Oh, okay. Well, anyways, if I wasn't buyer your to go bag, I feel like I would most I feel like it's more likely that you would have a lighter than a pack of sewing kit. So I would probably, you know, cauterize that and be like, you do you boo, rest here for three days, and I would check on you.

ANTHONY

Hopefully I don't bleed out.

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

Get an infection and epiceps.

NALEE

I would periodically come and check on you, but I'd give you aspirin and then I'd say rest. Close your eyes, boo, you'll be fine. And then I'd obviously come back and check your temperature.

ANTHONY

Like I would hope so. Where are you planning on leaving me? Are you leaving me like outside just in case I turn?

NALEE

No, in your bed.

ANTHONY

Okay.

NALEE

Oh, I would leave you in the porch just in case you do turn and I can close the door. Yeah, your your porch area. Like your background door, your background door.

SPEAKER_01

We were at Menard's. Are you drunk?

unknown

No, I'm not.

NALEE

I would leave you where the gates are at, where there's those gates, like in the garden area. I'd leave you there. So outside. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

NALEE

Well, not outside, but where outside, but where there's like something above you.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

NALEE

Not just in the outside. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

NALEE

And then I'd cover you with some blankets. Maybe I'd put you, I'd try to lift you up to one of the shelves just so that if there are walkers, they can reach you. So you can lay up there. Yeah.

ANTHONY

Thank you for that. I would hope there's no walkers if we're stealing menards.

NALEE

They could slip through. They could slip through. You never know. But yeah, that's what I would do.

ANTHONY

Oh God.

NALEE

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

NALEE

You know what? Another really good skill is just basic, like basic, like wound care.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

NALEE

You guys for the apocalypse.

ANTHONY

So 100%.

NALEE

Damn, we're getting real serious. I just did this topic as a joke, but we're getting really serious here.

ANTHONY

Oh. I thought you that's what you wanted.

NALEE

No, I did. I did. But I didn't think that we would be this in debt. I thought we would be in depth. I thought we would just be like, oh, you know. But it's 46 minutes in and we're still on segment one. So it's real intense.

ANTHONY

Okay. Well, I'll answer this question and then we can move on.

NALEE

Okay.

ANTHONY

So, okay, so Richard for a green thumb.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

ANTHONY

Plants. Perfect. Carol for sewing and woodbuilding.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

ANTHONY

Good. My uncle for his military background. And I have two more. Okay. I would probably try and find like a doctor. I would probably I would get a doctor on board for the medical aspect.

NALEE

Okay. Do you know a doctor?

ANTHONY

I do. I know five that I ha I like have in my cell phone that I could call from.

NALEE

Interesting. Actually, six. Would you call a doctor?

ANTHONY

No.

NALEE

Okay.

ANTHONY

No, because I feel like she would like want to be with her own family. I'm like, I random. So I'd have to find somebody who's single or somebody who like would be like, peace out, family.

NALEE

Okay.

ANTHONY

I don't I don't think she would do that. I know who I'd pick. I'm not gonna say his name.

NALEE

Okay.

ANTHONY

But I know who I would pick.

NALEE

Okay, so you'll have a doctor.

ANTHONY

I'll have a doctor, so now I have one more. I need somebody who would be good at like creating and like planning and strategizing.

NALEE

You I feel like you're pretty much.

ANTHONY

But I'm already there.

Skills, Doctors, And A Runner

NALEE

Yeah, so you need somebody else. You gotta expand your resources.

ANTHONY

What else do I need? So then the only thing left that I can think of would be a runner, a glen of my group.

NALEE

You need a hunter. Because none of you guys seem to be able to hunt.

ANTHONY

I feel like my uncle could hunt, or my uncle would at the very least be able to kill a rabbit for you guys? Yes.

NALEE

Okay, okay.

ANTHONY

Yeah. My uncle used to kill fucking rattlesnakes when we lived out in New Mexico.

NALEE

Like That's cool.

ANTHONY

Yeah, so I'm not worried about that.

NALEE

Okay, a runner.

ANTHONY

Ooh. No, a mechanic. A mechanic runner.

NALEE

Okay. Mechanic runner.

ANTHONY

I don't know anybody, but I could probably find someone. I could Okay.

NALEE

Okay.

ANTHONY

Yeah.

NALEE

Yeah. I feel like because my brother, he is an HVAC and he's very like, he knows how to fix cars. He knows how to like he's a mechanic pretty much. So I think we'd be good in that aspect, in that area.

ANTHONY

See, and that would be we could cross.

NALEE

Yeah, we can network.

ANTHONY

Yeah, and keep resources.

NALEE

Yeah. And instead of me being the doctor, we could actually use your doctor to affair.

ANTHONY

I like that idea better.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

ANTHONY

No offense to you, but No, it's okay. When you said the appendix was in the back, I was a little I don't even know where it is, to be honest, but I don't think it's in the back.

NALEE

I think it's in the back. But yeah, you do you boo. Find out. Find out.

ANTHONY

It's in the lower right quadrant of the country. So we were both wrong because I think I said left.

NALEE

You were like, you were like so confident. I was so confident. Yeah, you guys. No. Well, I don't come to me. If you want to be my Frankenstein, if you want to be a puppet for me, yeah, you do you boo. But if you want to survive, do not come to me. Man, I was so confident. I literally thought it was on the left side.

ANTHONY

I was literally thinking one of my friends was a swimmer, and I remember a picture of him, and he had the scar where his appendix was removed. And I swore it was on the right side of his body, but like if he was facing me, it was the right side, which means that it would have been flipped. His left. Yeah. Yeah. So maybe the the picture was reversed, but regardless, anyway, it's in your abdomen. So now we know.

NALEE

Yeah. Now we know not to rely on me to butcher you unless you want to die.

ANTHONY

Yeah, we're not going to do that.

NALEE

All right. Do you have anything else to add to this segment?

ANTHONY

No. I think now that the world knows my planned and the Eau Claire area knows that in the event of an apocalypse, you can find me either at Menard's, Sam's Club, Walmart, or Target.

NALEE

Aaron Powell I feel like that's where they'd find you regardless of an apocalypse. Or that's where they'd find me regardless of an apocalypse.

ANTHONY

You think so?

NALEE

Yeah. I go to Walmart. I go to Target. The only one I don't really go to his Menards, but yeah. I go to the other ones pretty frequently.

ANTHONY

So I think Minards just has so much to offer except for weapons. Except there would be weapons there because you could use like a nail gun.

NALEE

You have like a shovel, like those sharp shovels. You could just shovel? Yeah. They got like those picks.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

NALEE

So you you could make weapons out of whatever they have there. The only thing is they do have food, but not food that you could survive on for long.

ANTHONY

You don't think so?

NALEE

Well, I've seen their food selection. It's not that like great.

ANTHONY

It's not that great, but the majority of the food stuff that they have there is like stuff that's not gonna expire. It's filled with so many preservatives that it like five months from now, you're still gonna, you know, have something.

NALEE

Okay, yeah, you're right. You're right. Actually, I lied. Yeah.

Who Becomes The Villain

ANTHONY

But yeah. It wouldn't be my ideal place, but well, it wouldn't be my ideal place either. My ideal place would be a fucking private island in the middle of the Caribbean with no worries.

NALEE

Do you think people would survive if they lived on a private island?

ANTHONY

Depending on the climate and the type of island. Like obviously, if it's like an island where you can't grow things, no, I don't think that they could survive. Okay. Oh, maybe, because you could eat fish.

NALEE

And there's fruits and stuff like that.

ANTHONY

Yeah, but if you can't grow things, there wouldn't be fruits. Like if you can't keep that type of vegetation.

NALEE

Aren't islands usually pretty tropical, excluding like the ones in like Antarctica or whatever?

ANTHONY

I think so, but it I don't know. Most of them, I probably, yeah.

NALEE

Okay.

ANTHONY

But Okay. Okay.

NALEE

Well, let's say let's say that we survive day one.

ANTHONY

Which honestly is a little generous for some of us.

NALEE

But I mean, technically we we we would have a bunker then, right? For day one.

ANTHONY

With our friends, yes.

NALEE

And then you know, that's when the real horror begins. Like we've already talked about this, but the friend group that would implode in 48 hours.

unknown

Yeah.

NALEE

Who do you who do you think would become the villain? Like let's say, let's say, okay, let's come up with our friend group here. So let's just say strictly friends, right?

ANTHONY

Okay. Are we combining us or are we each having our own friend groups? I'm now realizing that I don't have a lot of friends.

NALEE

Well, I feel like you would be included included in my friend group.

ANTHONY

Okay, so we're just gonna combine it. Let's just combine it.

NALEE

Yeah, so obviously for my for my end that I would bring in would obviously be including you, would probably be Melissa.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

NALEE

Kiki.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

NALEE

Anzie, Stephanie, Kalia, Bohr, Chili, who else? Maybe Richard, because Richard's my friend.

ANTHONY

I love how you're like, maybe Richard. Maybe.

NALEE

So that's eight of us. I would bring And who who's on your end? So I have seven, including you.

ANTHONY

Again, I'm realizing that I don't have a lot of friends that I would bring. I I mean she doesn't live here. I would probably bring Deja because I feel like she would like.

NALEE

Oh yeah.

ANTHONY

She is a friend.

NALEE

Would she travel here though? That's the thing. Because if we're talking about people who would travel here, I would definitely include Cindy.

ANTHONY

Oh yeah. Well, yeah, let's just say anybody that Okay.

NALEE

Yeah, well, I will include Cindy then, because she's really resourceful too. So she'd be really good, I feel like, with negotiating or maybe like, yeah, getting on a trade or something. I don't know.

ANTHONY

Light bulb just went off in my head. I realized Cindy. Okay. Yeah. So for me, I would Deja. If you're on the fence about Richard, I'll bring Richard.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

ANTHONY

Um Carol.

NALEE

I would bring Josh. Okay. No.

ANTHONY

Sorry, Fef.

NALEE

You wouldn't bring Fef? Fef could be entertainment.

ANTHONY

That's true.

NALEE

Yeah, entertainment.

Hoarded Snacks And Quiet Suspicions

ANTHONY

I just don't foresee Fef's gonna come for me. I already am expecting a text message when this episode comes out. Probably. I just don't see Fef killing a zombie.

NALEE

I could see him narrating while one of us kills a zombie. We don't need a narrator. I'm sorry.

ANTHONY

The Walking Dead wasn't narrated. Sorry, Fef.

NALEE

I was I was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he could use bowling balls to like hit them in the head.

ANTHONY

I feel like Josh would be like, he would get up in there and like, oh, I know Josh would have the jaw. Like just Yeah.

NALEE

Yeah, yeah. Josh would Josh will play dirty for sure.

ANTHONY

Oh, a hundred percent.

NALEE

Yeah. Who else? Sorry, Fif. I guess I'll have to agree with you.

ANTHONY

Sorry, Fef.

NALEE

I see you narrating, not so much killing.

ANTHONY

I feel like I would bring Annie and Tom.

NALEE

Okay.

ANTHONY

Because I feel like Tom didn't does he hunt?

NALEE

I don't know if he hunts. I just know that he cracks backs. So maybe after a really tiring day, he could give us like I don't know, a massage. I don't know.

ANTHONY

I feel like I feel like he's good at like hunting. I don't know why. I don't know. There's no like factual recollection that's coming to my mind right now about that.

NALEE

Okay.

ANTHONY

But I feel like he could hunt and I feel like he would fish.

NALEE

Maybe fishing I could see.

ANTHONY

Fishing I can definitely see.

NALEE

Yeah, fishing I could see. I feel like I could see Annie fishing too.

ANTHONY

Yeah.

NALEE

I feel like she's very like in nature. Like she could probably collect nuts and like non-poisonous mushrooms or something. Yes. You know what I mean? Yeah. I could see that for sure. Like she's a forager. She's not a hunter, but she's a forager.

ANTHONY

This is really going out because I haven't talked to him in like years. You know who'd be a good runner? Jake.

NALEE

Jake. Yeah.

unknown

Exactly.

ANTHONY

He's literally a runner.

NALEE

A runner. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

ANTHONY

Yeah.

NALEE

Okay.

ANTHONY

Yeah, I think that would be my group.

NALEE

Okay. So, okay, so now that we have our group laid out, who do you think would actually become the villain?

ANTHONY

Villain in what sense? What type of villain are we talking about? Are we talking about the governor villain, or are we talking about Negan villain?

NALEE

Like the villain, as in, they're all for themselves. Like they don't care about the group. Like they're there, but they're like the sneaky one. Like if let's say somebody like Negan's group were to come and approach us, and they would be like, oh, I know who you could kill. I know who you could kill right off the bat, and they would get something for themselves. That's who I would consider the villain.

ANTHONY

Well, I don't know all of your friends enough to pick somebody from your group.

NALEE

Mm-hmm.

ANTHONY

From my group. Ooh. Ooh. I f oh God. I hope they don't see this. I think Annie and Tom.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

ANTHONY

I think that they're they're gonna cahoots and gotta do what you gotta do to survive.

NALEE

Okay.

ANTHONY

But like I said before, you corner a rat, I'm gonna fight back.

NALEE

Are you trying to Are you trying to say they're have they're a rat?

ANTHONY

No, I'm saying I'm the rat. They come for me and they corner me. My claws are out. I'm I ain't going down without a fight.

NALEE

So for me, I feel like in my group, again, it's that thing of don't come for me, but I feel like I feel like it'd be Chili, who'd be like, yeah, I know which bitch to like.

ANTHONY

Okay, I could see that. Yeah. I do and I do know Chili, so I could see that with Chili. Sorry, Chili.

NALEE

Yeah, sorry, girl, but I could see her doing that. She could be like, don't kill me, kill them, you know, kind of a thing. But that's who I would see. Yeah.

ANTHONY

Yeah, I could see her doing that.

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

Fucking bitch.

Leadership And First Casualty

NALEE

The way she regulating us how to drink? Yeah, I could see that.

ANTHONY

Regulating you how to drink? She's the one encouraging you to drink.

NALEE

Yeah. But okay. So then who do you think would be the friend who hoards snacks and lies about like food and stuff in our friend group? Melissa.

ANTHONY

No hesitation. Melissa.

NALEE

Oh my God. She'd be like, I eat that shit already. Yeah. There's no more. And there'd be like five packs under her tits or something. Yeah.

ANTHONY

Yeah. And then in her mind, her justification would be like, this food has to last us a year. I never know when I'm going to see food again. So stick it up under.

NALEE

I also feel like she'd be the hoe to be like, if you want, if you want this piece of, if you want this pack of beef jerky, you better give me some of your beef jerky. It's a tray for a trade. I could see her doing that for sure. Your fucking expression.

ANTHONY

I could see it. We love beef jerky. You want some of this beef jerky? My kid wants some of your beef jerky.

NALEE

Exactly. Yeah.

ANTHONY

I could see it.

NALEE

Yeah, exactly. See, I was that wrong for saying that.

ANTHONY

If she watches us, she's gonna hate us.

NALEE

Yeah. It's okay. We love you and we don't judge, boo. Okay. Well, my last character here is who do you think would be the one who becomes like weirdly calm and suspicious?

ANTHONY

Richard.

NALEE

Okay. Why you say Richard?

ANTHONY

Because I feel like Richard gets when he has a lot going on in his mind or he's trying to process a lot, he gets quiet.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

ANTHONY

So I can always tell when something's going on or he's really turning.

NALEE

Something's cooking up here. Yeah. Okay. Okay. Do you think Richard would ever like turn us in?

ANTHONY

To what?

NALEE

Like, let's say, like, if Negan and their group was to come in, do you think like if they tortured him enough, or if they didn't they were gonna attempt to torture him, do you think he would like give it and be like, okay, okay, don't like take out my teeth. This is what happened.

ANTHONY

I do.

NALEE

Okay.

ANTHONY

I do. But the r the reason that I say that I think he would do that is because I think he would do that knowing that if they came for us or if they came for me, that I'm not going down without a fight. And he would know that we gonna win, boo. World War III, we're gonna win.

NALEE

Okay, okay, okay. Do you so let's say if the rules were reversed, if you were in that situation, do you think you'd give in? You said you would put up a fight, but if they're like, I'm gonna take your teeth out right now and it's your favorite tooth, what would you do?

ANTHONY

Just one of my teeth are my favorite teeth. Okay.

unknown

Oh God.

ANTHONY

I probably would cave.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

ANTHONY

No, no, no. We found our trainer. No, I wouldn't. I wouldn't. And here's why.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

ANTHONY

Because I truly am a firm believer that, like, in those situations, if they're willing to torture you to get what they want, they're not letting you go.

NALEE

Yeah, they're willing to kill you.

ANTHONY

They're either going to kill you or they're going to keep you to torture you for more information at some point.

NALEE

Exactly.

ANTHONY

So no, I think I would fight back what I could, but I I would probably be dead.

NALEE

Okay. Okay. Wow. Scout's honor. Love that.

ANTHONY

Yeah. What about you?

NALEE

I don't think I would. I think I like I have the same thought where like if you're already gonna torture me, you're gonna kill me.

ANTHONY

You're not gonna let me go after after this, yeah.

NALEE

So it's like, regardless, yeah, kill me. That's cool.

ANTHONY

Okay, no.

NALEE

It's my time, it's my time.

ANTHONY

What if they have they kidnapped you, they they threatened you, they tortured you, and you gave them information and they said that because your information panned out, we'll we'll let you live, but you have to join us.

Unhinged Survival Plans

NALEE

I can't do that. I don't think I could live with the guilt of like betraying somebody. Yeah. Because for me, I think you guys already know I've said it several times. I think loyalty is like one of my biggest things.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

NALEE

And even like the stupidest things like I've learned in the past, like even if the stupidest things, the stupidest lie, it it eats up at me. So I have like my guilty conscious is like real fucking little. That's why I try not to do anything that I would regret, or I try not to like do things that will make me feel guilty about a certain thing. That's why when I do things, I say with my chest and I mean it. Because if I think back about it, it's gonna eat me up if I didn't really mean it or if I didn't tell the truth or whatever. So I feel like in this situation, even if they're like, oh, you know what? We're gonna keep you alive and you know, you've earned your spot, but you have to come with us. I don't think I'd be able to. I'd be like, uh fuck you. I'd spit in their face and be like, I don't care. Kill me.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

NALEE

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

That's how I would be on them.

NALEE

Yeah. You could probably piss on them. I'd end up pissing on myself, but you know, yeah. You can't. You can't over here. You cannot. But yeah, that's just that's just how I would be. Do you have any character questioning?

ANTHONY

Who would be the person who goes missing for three hours?

NALEE

Melissa. Because she's hiding our food.

ANTHONY

She's not out foraging, she's out hiding.

NALEE

Yeah. She's out burying the food that's supposed to last us for a year.

ANTHONY

That was my follow-up question. Was what do you think that they would be doing?

NALEE

Yeah, she's for sure hiding our food.

ANTHONY

Okay.

NALEE

Who do you think?

ANTHONY

Originally I felt like it would be me.

NALEE

Okay. Okay, let's just put that. If it was you, what would you be doing?

ANTHONY

I would be scavenging.

NALEE

Okay. Okay. Okay. I like that. Okay, so if it wasn't you, who do you think would be doing that?

ANTHONY

I'm gonna say Richard.

NALEE

Interesting. I'm surprised you didn't say me.

ANTHONY

Why?

NALEE

Because I like drop off the earth a lot. You're just like, are you dead? You know what I mean? So I feel like I'd do that. Yeah. But I feel like why would you say Richard?

ANTHONY

Well, fun fact for him, when he was like a kid and he would walk to school, the school would call his parents and be like, Richard isn't at school, is you know, like, is everything okay?

SPEAKER_06

Or the heck?

ANTHONY

Or hey, school started an hour ago and Richard's not here, he would be walking and he would just wander off? Wander off birds, squirrels, just that's crazy.

NALEE

So I feel like if he was let let out, like a dog, if he was let out to go for a walk, like he would just get distracted and just like a s this is like a super like side question.

unknown

Okay.

NALEE

Do you think Duffy would survive the apocalypse?

ANTHONY

Yeah. Even though he's made a bitch. Yeah.

NALEE

With his loud ass, you'd think he would survive? I don't think he would survive. I love Duffy, but I don't think he would.

ANTHONY

I think he would. He can get aggressive, like if he needed to.

NALEE

Yeah, but he's so loud. He'd be attracting killing us.

ANTHONY

He would he would be attracting things to us for sure. That a hundred percent. There's no question about that.

SPEAKER_06

I'd be like, hey would be.

ANTHONY

As far as like him being alive and surviving out in the wild, I think that he would.

NALEE

Okay. Okay.

ANTHONY

You don't think so though?

NALEE

I don't think he would.

ANTHONY

You think he would get eaten?

NALEE

Yeah, I think he would. Because even though he's very aggressive, I think he's very friendly too, though.

ANTHONY

Yeah, I think he's very friendly, but I think like the minute that a zombie were to start like pulling at his fur.

NALEE

Oh no.

ANTHONY

Because it's not like a zombie's gonna be like, here doggy, pet, pet, pet. It's gonna be like, ah.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

ANTHONY

And that's gonna hurt him to a point that he's gonna get defensive and attack.

NALEE

Okay. I feel like he'd be the cause of our apocalypse. He'd come back with an infective leg, infected leg, and then we'd all die from that.

ANTHONY

Do animals get infected? I don't ever remember an animal getting infected in the Walking Dead.

Solo Year Inside A Costco

NALEE

Have you seen Resident Evil? Hello.

ANTHONY

Well, I thought we were talking about The Walking Dead, and no, I haven't seen it.

NALEE

Well, anything zombie. Anything zombie, right?

ANTHONY

I haven't seen Resident. What is it? Resident Evil.

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

Yeah, no.

NALEE

Okay. Well, we'll give Duffy the benefit of the doubt.

ANTHONY

Yeah.

NALEE

He would survive with Melissa, wouldn't it?

ANTHONY

He would survive longer than Melissa.

NALEE

Probably, yeah. Because he's fast. He could be our runner.

ANTHONY

He could be our runner, yes.

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

I would honestly, though, I would probably get one of those like dog backpacks and like carrying.

NALEE

Oh, yeah. Okay.

ANTHONY

Yeah.

NALEE

All right. What were we talking about?

ANTHONY

Well, we were doing characters. Oh, yes. Okay.

NALEE

So you think it would be Richard?

ANTHONY

Yeah.

NALEE

Because he'd wander off. Okay.

ANTHONY

Yeah.

NALEE

Okay. What about your next one?

ANTHONY

Who do you think would be the let's split up person and why?

NALEE

That's a good question. I feel like maybe you. You would be that.

ANTHONY

I was gonna say me too.

NALEE

Yeah, because you'd be like, hey, let's split up, let you do this, and we'll do this. So I feel like it'd be you for sure.

ANTHONY

Yeah. I feel like I'm not very good at leading, but I feel like I'm very good at being able to identify what people are good at.

NALEE

You're good at delegating for sure.

ANTHONY

I would be good at delegating.

NALEE

So yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

ANTHONY

Plus, I would also low-key part of me would also be wanting to like let split up because like if I know that you're the weak link and you're dragging us down.

SPEAKER_04

I hate you.

ANTHONY

She ain't coming home tonight.

SPEAKER_04

You're the fucking villain.

ANTHONY

That is not being a villain. That that is survival of the fittest. I am not, I am not about to let fall.

NALEE

You're like, I'm not about that life. You go there.

ANTHONY

Yeah.

NALEE

Okay. Last question here for me for us. Of everybody in the group, who do you think will end up being the leader?

ANTHONY

I feel like it would come down to me and you.

NALEE

Interesting.

ANTHONY

I don't feel like, again, I don't feel like I'm a leader. I'm very good at delegating tasks. Okay. But I don't feel like I'm a leader. But I feel like out of the group, I feel like it would come down to me and you. Like a team. I feel like I'd be the leader.

NALEE

I feel like I'd be the leader for sure.

ANTHONY

I feel like between the two of us, I would have the more rational sense of things.

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

And you would have your like El Dorado, Street Smarts, ghetto.

SPEAKER_04

I hate you.

NALEE

Yeah, I feel like for sure it'd be the two of us where I'd be like, okay, there's not one specific leader, but we are the ones who makes the calls. Like Anthony's gonna be the one who's telling you to do stuff, and I'd be the one strategizing, like, okay, how are we gonna figure it out? Making sure, keeping the peace, you know.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

ANTHONY

I agree with that.

NALEE

Yeah. So look at us.

ANTHONY

Who do you think would be the first one to To die? Yeah.

NALEE

Melissa. She'd go out for three hours hiding her food, and then she'd get eaten by a zombie, and then we'd find her b half-eaten body, and then we'd also find the stash of food. That's how I see it playing out.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Yeah.

NALEE

That's how I see it playing out for sure.

ANTHONY

Yeah. Yep. Poor Melissa. I'm sorry.

NALEE

Poor Melissa. We love you. We hope you survive, but realistically, we're not too sure.

ANTHONY

I don't I don't need anybody to run faster than me. I just need to run faster than everybody else.

NALEE

Yeah, pretty much.

ANTHONY

That's I mean, real.

NALEE

Yeah. Yeah. It's kind of fun, but it's also kind of scary to think about, like, you know, a zombie apocalypse.

ANTHONY

I think it's fun to think about just because well, I'm not gonna go there because that's gonna let people into my dark brain.

NALEE

We already know you got a dark brain. It's okay. All right. You wanna segue us into the third segment?

ANTHONY

Well, after I have one last question.

NALEE

Okay.

ANTHONY

For this character. Who would be the one person who starts a new government?

NALEE

Mmm.

ANTHONY

I feel like we need law and order.

NALEE

Yeah. I feel like it'd be Josh. Yeah. I feel like it'd be Josh.

ANTHONY

I feel like Josh would be really good at like rounding checks and balances and stuff like that.

NALEE

Yeah, I could see that for sure.

ANTHONY

Yeah.

NALEE

Good for you, Josh. Look at you.

ANTHONY

Yeah, look at you, Josh. You're gonna be the president. You're gonna be the president of our new world order.

NALEE

Yeah. But you agree, Josh, too?

ANTHONY

Yeah, I think Josh.

NALEE

Yeah. I see Josh too, for sure.

Fitness, Gardens, And Power

ANTHONY

Okay. Well, now that now that we've figured all that out, let's expose ourselves.

NALEE

All right. Because we talk.

ANTHONY

Yep.

NALEE

Oh, go ahead.

ANTHONY

No, go ahead.

NALEE

Oh, I was gonna say because we do talk a big game.

ANTHONY

Yeah, but what would we actually do?

NALEE

And why is half of it delusional?

ANTHONY

I think because I like to think that I'm stronger than I actually am.

NALEE

I agree. Yeah, for sure. I'm saying all this shit, but I know I think in reality, I'd be the bitch to like freak out and be like, I would actually be the Melissa. I'd be like, I'm go, I'm gonna go for three hours, I'm gonna go find her food, but then like my fat ass will be eating it behind a bush or something.

ANTHONY

Eating it as you're walking back, and then you get back and you're like, I found this one box, a little Debbie's.

NALEE

Yeah, yeah, that'd be me.

ANTHONY

As you have chocolate all around your mouth.

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

Fucking bitch.

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

What did you have for this segment?

NALEE

All right, so this segment is unhinged survival plans that the world that would absolutely fail. Living inside Costco for a year. That was a topic that I had. I think, yes, I think if you were to live in Costco, I think you would survive, but not for a whole year. Because three six yeah, 365 is a long time. And we also have to think logistically, is this with like electricity still working, or is this with it dead and you're like in the dark and you know, you have to navigate your way around and stuff like that?

ANTHONY

So I'm not understanding where they're where the issue is.

NALEE

If there's no electricity, you can still Yeah, but electricity, majority of the stuff in their freezers and stuff, in the refrigeration, is what keeps it cold. And as soon as that dies, you know, vegetables are gonna rot and milk is gonna go rotten, and a lot of the frozen foods would go bad because obviously it needs electricity for it to refrigerate. So technically, if we were thinking on the realistic side, is probably electricity will go out. How long can you actually survive in a in a Costco? You know what I mean? Unless they magically have like a backup generator, which I don't know if stores do. I feel like they probably do, yeah, which they probably do, but at the same time, it's still limited though. Like it's gonna be very limited. So I feel like you could probably survive there maybe six months, but a whole year, I don't know.

ANTHONY

I think a year would be doable in Costco.

NALEE

Because people get bored and they're like, I'm hungry, I'm gonna go eat again, kind of a thing. You know what I mean?

ANTHONY

Well, and if they get bored, that's when you all right, bye, go.

NALEE

Yeah, I guess.

ANTHONY

Leave Costco, go out there, fight your own fight.

NALEE

My my thing to this, my my other like question, baby segue to this one is if there was nobody and it was just you, do you think you could survive alone in a Costco for one year? Just you. Nobody else, not me, not Richard, just you.

ANTHONY

Yep.

NALEE

You think you would?

ANTHONY

I do. I think that I would because I think that I would find things to do, and I would find a volleyball and name it Wilson. And that would be my new best friend.

NALEE

Wilson's gonna have a big hole in the middle of his in the middle of the ball.

ANTHONY

And the beautiful thing, I could just walk around the entire store naked.

NALEE

Period.

ANTHONY

Period.

unknown

Okay.

ANTHONY

I got blankets, I got my beds, I got my couch, flashlights, batteries. There's gotta be they gotta sell generators at Costco too.

NALEE

Yeah, that's true.

ANTHONY

So do you have to charge generators? I don't know how that works.

NALEE

Well, if there's like solar, if it's like a solar panel thingy where you could put it in the sun, then you probably could. But if it's like a plug-in to something, I feel like probably not.

Intrusive Thoughts Get Dark

ANTHONY

Oh, and by the way, going back to your whole thing about like veggies spoiling, first thing, dig up some dirt. We're gonna make an indoor or rooftop garden using the vegetables that we have.

NALEE

Decomposting.

ANTHONY

Is that what that is?

NALEE

Or is it is it composting or decomposting? Composting.

ANTHONY

Well, that's composting, but no, I mean, like, you know, if you have an onion that sits too long, it starts to sprout roots.

NALEE

Sprout, yeah.

ANTHONY

Plant that shit. There we go. We got onions growing.

NALEE

And Costco does have like soil, right? Yeah, we have soil, yeah, yeah.

ANTHONY

Well, I mean, depending on the season, but yeah.

NALEE

Yeah. Okay.

ANTHONY

Interesting. Do you think that you would survive by yourself?

NALEE

I think I would. Yeah, I think I would.

ANTHONY

You don't think you would get bored?

NALEE

I don't think I well, I could entertain myself. So I don't think I would get bored, but I was I've been thinking I was thinking about this. If I was stuck in a Costco for one year by myself, and let's just say hypothetically there is an up like a back up generator.

ANTHONY

Did you say there is or isn't?

NALEE

There is.

ANTHONY

Okay.

NALEE

I'm thinking if there is, then I would actually like put up all the Christmas decorations as lights, so it could guide me like in certain aisles and stuff like that, or I could like I could like use specific colors for specific things, like oh, blue would be like food stuff, and red would be like, I don't know, whatever. So I could like color code like specific aisles for like where things are. Yeah.

ANTHONY

And then why why would you need to color code?

NALEE

I don't know, just to just to not be bored, entertain myself.

SPEAKER_00

Oh.

NALEE

Um and then let's say and I would like open up everything. I would open up everything and collect everything and see, like, you know, see what everything is, and then or I would like save a box a day and open up one thing at a one thing for a day or whatever. I don't know. And then if there wasn't a generator, I would collect I would collect like all the vegetables, like you said, and I would I would create like a compost area and a garden, obviously. I'm gonna attempt to have a green thumb, and if nothing grows, then I've tried. And then when it comes to like the food and stuff, I would find out like the coldest area in the store, and then I would put the the food there. Yeah. That's as far as I thought. Yeah. But I think I would survive. I think I would survive. I think I think instead of being skinny though, I think I'd be fat because really I think so.

ANTHONY

See, I feel like that would be my motivation to lose weight even faster.

NALEE

I don't know.

ANTHONY

To like work out. Like, I don't want no zombie catching me.

NALEE

That's true.

ANTHONY

I'm gonna get on that treadmill.

NALEE

Maybe I wouldn't be fat, but I feel like I'd gain like hella muscle.

SPEAKER_00

Like Michonne.

NALEE

Yeah, like I feel like I'd be carrying stuff back and forth and like yeah, gaining muscle and stuff. But yeah. I'd come out looking like the Hulk.

ANTHONY

I just I just had a mental image in my head that's no thank you.

NALEE

The green hawk, the girl, or the is she green? The green girl hawk is what I'm talking about. Not the guy, not the big hulk guy.

ANTHONY

I just learned that there was a female Hulk.

NALEE

Yeah, she's new.

ANTHONY

I don't know what she's called.

NALEE

I think she's called She-Hulk.

ANTHONY

She-Hulk?

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

To each their own.

NALEE

Yeah. Okay.

ANTHONY

What else you got? Oh, I was just gonna ask, what else you got?

NALEE

Okay, so again, we're talking about unhitched survival plans that would absolutely fail. Mine would be like, who do you think, or I don't know, not really who, but I guess who. Who do you think would romanticize like the apocalypse?

ANTHONY

Okay, define romanticize the apocalypse. Because I'm trying to understand how you can make anything about an apocalypse romantic.

NALEE

Well, there's those people who like thrive in survival mode, right? And when an apocalypse happens, they're like, yes, like I've been waiting for this shit to happen. You know what I mean? So then it's something they actually enjoy. It's kind of like those people who are like, let's just say serial killers. When the zombie apocalypse happens, that's probably shopping spree for them. That's probably a killing spree for them, but without any consequences. So like that. Yeah.

ANTHONY

Well, then I would have to say all the serial killers.

NALEE

Okay, yeah, I guess.

ANTHONY

Or do you mean from our group?

NALEE

Anything. It could be from our group, it could be from a group of people.

ANTHONY

Like I I definitely think serial killers are gonna enjoy the hell out of a out of an apocalypse. Yeah. As far as our group goes. Okay, this eh, I don't know. I'm not gonna admit that. Never mind.

SPEAKER_04

Admit it.

ANTHONY

Save with your chess.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, oh.

ANTHONY

I low-key think that it would be f fun to murder these zombies like with no consequences.

NALEE

Okay. Okay. I'm gonna slowly back away and close out of this podcast.

ANTHONY

I think I think it's one of those things where it's like you know how people are always like wondering about the unknown or things that they can't do?

NALEE

Nope.

ANTHONY

Okay.

NALEE

I mean, you do you boo. Go on, speak sh like prove us wrong. Go on and speak on that. What do you mean by that? Elaborate. Tell me a little bit more about that.

Rebuilding Rules And Exiles

ANTHONY

I just mean that there's certain things that are like societal norms that you can't do because it's frowned upon or considered bad, even if it actually is bad. I'm throwing that out there. But like in the event of the apocalypse, you definitely have the opportunity. There, it's like there's no hold bar here. Like, you want to kill somebody, you kill somebody.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

ANTHONY

I give it to you. I'm not saying that I want to kill anybody, but like just to do it without having any consequences. Yeah. And it's like, like, for example, when I watch this, God, this is so fucking morbid. Oh my god, I'm gonna end up on some blacklist somewhere. But like watching Dexter, I feel like I've had this conversation with you or somebody in the past before, and it was I did not, it was not taken well. But like watching Dexter low-key, part of me wants to know what it would actually feel like to plunge a knife into a person. But I would never do that because that's bad. You can't just do that.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

ANTHONY

You can't just do that. But in the event of an apocalypse, you can do that. You can.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. Yeah. Okay. I was just kidding.

ANTHONY

And on the opposite side of that thing, opposite side of that, like, part of me wants to know, like, and I'm not giving anybody permission to stab me, but what you want to see how it's what does it feel like to have a knife penetrate into your person?

NALEE

You know what? I'll do that when I give you an appendix operation.

ANTHONY

Find the dullest knife to slice me open with.

NALEE

I don't think, and I was just stirring shit up, obviously. I'm an instigator, but I think everybody, I think everybody has that. Well, I don't know if I talked to you about it. It could be like I might I may have talked to like B or something like that about it, but it's letting your intrusive thoughts like how would how would it feel to actually let that happen? And I think like stabbing somebody, I don't know, like hitting somebody with a bat nonstop to see like what happens, or how much energy, or like now it's getting real dark, holy shit. Or like it is getting really dark funny, you know, like yeah. It's like obviously you're not gonna do it because it's fucked up, but at the same time, it's just kind of like it's the end of the world. There's yeah, like what would it feel like?

ANTHONY

If I hit somebody in the middle of their skull with a bat, is it going, God, this is such a fucked up dark conversation? But like, is what happened to Glenn?

NALEE

Can we be serial killers? I don't know. I mean when there's a zombie apocalypse, everybody's a serial killer, I think, at that point.

ANTHONY

It's yeah, survival of the fittest is truly what it is.

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

But like, if I hit somebody in the middle of their skull with a baseball bat, is what happened to Glenn on The Walking Dead? Is that actually what happened?

NALEE

Yeah, yeah. Yeah. I don't know. It's getting real dark. And I'm getting kind of scared over here. So let's uh listeners.

ANTHONY

I did not choose this topic for this episode. Yeah, I was just throwing this all on Nolly.

NALEE

It's all it's all on me. I wanted to stir stuff up. I wanted to talk about something different. We talked about love and porn last week, and now we're talking about zombie apocalypse. I thought I wanted to switch things up. So yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

The Cannibalism Line

NALEE

I feel like I feel like you're not the only one though. I'm I'm pretty sure I'm not sure. Exactly.

ANTHONY

Everybody else out there is thinking it. I'm just I got the bulk. We're just saying it.

NALEE

But I'm just saying that, like, let's just say, like, if people, I'm pretty sure, and I may not like, I don't know. I would say maybe like 95% of people, let's say if you gave them the opportunity to do, like, I don't know, to stab somebody, to kill somebody, shoot somebody with a gun. I'm pretty sure if it was no consequences, whether it's a zombie or if it's, I don't know, a clone, I'm pretty sure like 95% of people would do it. No consequences. I feel like, I feel like there would be.

ANTHONY

I feel like it would be a high percentage, but not 95%.

NALEE

I feel I feel like the 5% would be like, are you sure there's no consequences? Like, are you sure? Like, are you sure there's no consequences? And then after they've been reassured a thousand times, then they'd be like, okay, pow. You know what I mean?

ANTHONY

That's I mean, yeah, I agree with you. Not the not that percentage, but I do agree with that.

NALEE

Okay, maybe 90%. I lied. Maybe 90%.

ANTHONY

I don't feel like that's even generous.

NALEE

I don't know.

ANTHONY

I feel like more than 50% of people, for sure. 100%.

NALEE

And true.

ANTHONY

More than 50% of people would take advantage of that.

NALEE

It's like So do you So with us stating that, let's say if you were given that chance, you would do that? Or do you plead the fifth?

ANTHONY

Well, let me ask you this. Am I doing this for fun or am I doing this as like defense, self-defense?

NALEE

I don't know. Just in general, if you were given the opportunity. Okay. What if they're like that that thing's a clone? It's not a real person.

ANTHONY

Well, if it's not a real person, then why wouldn't I do it? That's like saying, would you take a baseball bat to a TV? Yeah. Why the fuck wouldn't it's an inanimate object. What it's not gonna hurt anything.

NALEE

What if it's a clone that knows how to think and like is like humanoid?

ANTHONY

Hell yeah. I am not for these AI humanoid bots that are being created. Okay. Hell yeah. I've seen the movie AI with Will Smith. I ain't about that life.

NALEE

Is it AI or is it I Am Legend?

ANTHONY

No, it's AI.

NALEE

Oh wait, I am legend is never minded.

ANTHONY

I am Legend, I think, wasn't that the end of the world or something?

NALEE

Yeah, it's an apocalypse. Yeah.

ANTHONY

That's more on brand is what we're talking about. AI is the artificial intelligent robots that are.

NALEE

Actually, that's right. Yeah, I totally forgot about that movie.

ANTHONY

Yeah.

NALEE

Okay. Okay.

ANTHONY

And about that life. And those scientists who are like developing these fucking humanoid robots, y'all, y'all fucked up. That's some dark ass scary shit. I think it's kind of cool, but I think there's like a I think it would be a lot more cool if it was regulated and there was more control over it.

NALEE

Right. If there was like boundaries and like, okay, this is where we're gonna stop, you know?

ANTHONY

Yeah.

NALEE

Okay. What was your what was your topic?

ANTHONY

Well, now that I've literally confessed to like wanting to like stab people, I wanted to talk about like rebuilding society and banning annoying people.

NALEE

Okay. I could totally see you doing that.

ANTHONY

Hell yeah.

NALEE

After your Yeah, I'm gonna separate and whoever's the weakest link is going over there. Yeah.

ANTHONY

Yeah. I would slowly like build out my community. And like, if it if it was if the world came to an end and we were in the middle of an apocalypse, I've said it once, I'll say it again, with the way that society is or would have been pre-apocalypse, we need to take this opportunity to sever our ties from those idiots.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

ANTHONY

Annoying people, stupid people, like douches.

NALEE

Sometimes I wonder if I fall into those categories.

ANTHONY

No. I don't think you do. So you would be allowed into my village.

NALEE

I'd be the one exception. No.

ANTHONY

I don't even you wouldn't even be an exception. I don't know why you think that you would be.

NALEE

I feel like I'm pretty annoying. I could be pretty annoying.

ANTHONY

Okay, but I mean I'll give you that. But as far as annoying goes, that I I think when what I meant by this was like the annoying people that like Karen's and stuff like that. Like when you talk to your manager, like the people that are gonna make the situation worse than it is. Oh, and they're not gonna like contribute anything.

NALEE

Okay, I would be down for that.

ANTHONY

Those annoying, stupid people who contribute nothing to society, those are the ones that I would exile.

NALEE

Okay. They'd be the ones that I would like feed to the crowd. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah.

ANTHONY

Yeah.

unknown

Yeah.

NALEE

Okay. I could get with that.

Vetting New Members

ANTHONY

Those are the ones, I don't know if you got this far in The Walking Dead or not, but like when they had like those like fences of like pitchforks and they like put zombies on them, like those are the people I would use them as my defense. Spike them and every so you know feed or something. Yeah.

NALEE

Okay, okay, okay.

ANTHONY

Use them to deater walkers.

NALEE

I remember that a little bit, but not the full thing. But yeah, I would agree. I wouldn't I wouldn't say no to that. Because again, it's the f it's survival of the fittest, and if you're annoying the shit out of me, you gonna be food. Okay. Okay.

ANTHONY

Okay, I have a question that we didn't address at all in this episode.

SPEAKER_06

Okay. What's up?

ANTHONY

Could you and would you ever eat a person?

NALEE

I don't think I could. I don't think I could. Yeah, I don't think I could. I think that's too much. It comes back to that the the the loyalty. Even though it's not like I don't have any loyalty to the the person, it's just kind of like that's a lot.

ANTHONY

That it would be a lot to digest, no pun intended.

NALEE

Like if it's like the it's if it's like that the place where they went to where they were like killing people and eating them, yeah, and I had no clue, and I was like, oh, like, you know, I had no clue, and then I ate it, I'd be like, oh, okay, whatever. But if I was to find out after the fact that it was human, I'd be like puke. I would puke and I'd probably go crazy a little bit.

ANTHONY

You think so?

NALEE

I'd probably go into a delusion and be like, What'd I do? Who the fuck did I eat? What part did I eat? You know, like My God, I can't believe I just did that. You know, kind of a thing. I think I'd go into a spiral and then I'd come back and be like, you know what? It is what it is. Move off.

ANTHONY

I wish I wouldn't have asked this. I'm literally getting sick to my stomach, just even thinking about it.

NALEE

I can't. Would you?

ANTHONY

No. Okay. No. I couldn't.

NALEE

Okay. Okay. Now we're going down a spiral. I have another question. I'll follow up on that one. If you found out that one of the one of the people in our fan groups, let's say Stephanie, okay? I don't know. Just super random. Because you and I both know Stephanie. And I think you know her well enough to know that it's Stephanie. But let's say if you found out that, sorry Stephanie, if you listen to this, sorry. But let's say if you found out that Stephanie was like, and she was the person who was finding food for us, right? And you found out that she was the one who is actually like bringing human meat to us, would you do anything about that?

ANTHONY

Bye. You're exiled. You are not coming back in. You are not welcome here. No, thank you. No, ma'am.

NALEE

Okay. Sorry, Stephanie. Would you? You are the I feel like I'd tell the group and then I would have them vote.

ANTHONY

What is there to vote on? We're literally eating human beings.

NALEE

But what if we didn't have any food? And that was her logic of it. Like, oh, like What did I say earlier?

ANTHONY

I'll fucking eat an acorn. Okay. I don't know.

NALEE

I don't know. That'd be a hard that'd be a hard like it'd be hard for me.

SPEAKER_00

Because she's a friend.

NALEE

Yeah, because of the friend part. You know, like You can go with her. I feel like I would do a majority vote kind of a thing. And then let's say if she stays, then I'd be like, you somebody else needs to go with her to make sure it's not human meat. But if she if it's a majority vote and she has to go, then I'd be like, sorry, peace out. I gotta survive to, you know.

ANTHONY

Now now that I s now that you say that, and now that I'm thinking about a vote, we could just do a vote. And if people vote for her to stay, it's a democracy. I just won't eat the meat.

NALEE

Whatever she brings.

ANTHONY

Yeah.

NALEE

Okay.

Kids As Liabilities

ANTHONY

But I also feel like in an apocalypse, it's not like she's out she would be out there like slicing and dicing and carving and bringing like pieces of meat back. So like if it was like a fox, she's bringing back the entire fox, right? So we're gonna see the carcass, we're gonna know that it's a fox.

NALEE

Yeah. But let's just but I'm speaking hypothetically here. No, I know. If if you I feel like with hunters, yeah, they would bring the whole thing back, but if it's if it's too big or whatever, they do bring like portions of it back. So let's just say if she was scavenging, she would like then oh my god, this is getting too PG 13 or too like graphic. But she'd like cut off just the meat off the bone and stuff. You know what I mean?

ANTHONY

Yes. But also, on the other hand of that, again, analytical mind here. If she's going out to collect food for the group and we have a group of 10 people, she probably shouldn't be going alone because is she really going to be able to carry back enough food for 10 people by herself?

NALEE

Well, this is a hypothetical. Yeah.

ANTHONY

Yeah, we could we could vote on it, but I just won't eat the meat. I would vote on it. I'll get my own acorn.

NALEE

I wouldn't just kick her out. I'd be like, tell us your logic. What was the reason? And if she's like, well, there I couldn't find any I couldn't find any animal meat or anything, and then I saw I found this freshly oh my god, I found this freshly like turned body that's still good, and I thought that, you know, was worth bringing it back, then I would be like, okay, I'm not gonna eat the stuff that you bring again. You're gonna have like somebody monitoring you, but I think the team, like the team, I think the group needs to know about what's happening, and they need to also they could also make a decision if they want you to stay or for you to go.

ANTHONY

We will put her on trial in twin tangents court.

NALEE

Yeah, for real.

ANTHONY

This bitch.

NALEE

All right. Yeah. It's not Stephanie's fault. It's just whoever, if that's the case. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I'll not gonna eat.

NALEE

Did you have another topic you wanted to talk about before we move on to our next SIGU?

ANTHONY

Would you ever surviving the apocalypse, would you ever travel with somebody with zero skills?

NALEE

No.

ANTHONY

Yeah, same.

NALEE

No. If it's if it's a sense of like if I already knew all the skills that I needed to, and it's a sense of like if it's a person who's like really smart, but they don't know how to like do stuff, and I'm teaching them how to do it, maybe yes. But if let's just say if I didn't have any skills already myself, and I'm gonna have somebody else who is absolutely gonna bring us down, no, probably not.

ANTHONY

Okay, but you just said if you don't have any skills yourself, so you're the person with no skills?

NALEE

No, like if I didn't have like all of the skills, like if I have a few things, like if I if I like had part of it, like if I obviously I know to cook, if I know to like, you know, scavenge, scavenge, whatever that word is, or like if I knew direction or whatever. If I brought something to the table, but this other person doesn't have anything, then I'd be like, yeah, no.

ANTHONY

W Okay. Would you easily let other people into your group?

NALEE

No. I have trust issues. Hell no.

ANTHONY

Okay, here's a question for you. Since you watched The Walking Dead, they always anytime they brought new people into their group, they always asked them a question. How many have you killed, right? Is that what it was? Yeah. Have you killed?

NALEE

Yeah, have you killed any yeah.

ANTHONY

Is that what like what would your vetting system be like? Is that what your question would be?

NALEE

Or that's a good question.

ANTHONY

I would need a full-on fucking dissertation. I want to know what your skills are, what are you bringing to the group? And I would want to know if they've killed anybody.

NALEE

Yeah, I think for sure, I think that would be a question that I would ask is like how many people you killed, what do you bring to the table, and how well do you work with other people?

ANTHONY

What is this a fucking job interview? How well do you work with other people?

NALEE

Well, because if you are a problematic person, then you're gonna cause rift in the in our like system. So I'm not just gonna bring you in if you can't cooperate with other people.

ANTHONY

Yeah, that's fair.

Bite Protocols And Mercy

NALEE

You know what I mean? Like if you're like, like, I would ask, like, oh, like, are you a lone woof? Do you work better by yourself or whatever? Then I'd be like, okay, I'm not gonna even invest in that because you would need to consider all of us, not just yourself. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

NALEE

And then I guess my own my other question would be I would ask like a loyalty-related question.

ANTHONY

Like, what's do you have an example?

NALEE

Like, let's say if I got bit, right? If I got bit, and would you tell the group about me being bit, or would you tell the group about me having an infection or would you keep it to yourself? I think this is probably a problematic question because people could probably lie and they could be, oh yeah, I'll say.

ANTHONY

They can lie about anything.

NALEE

Yeah. But I think that's probably something that I would ask. Because again, it when it comes to loyalty, it's like loyalty is the number I feel like if you're working in if you're in a group setting, that's like the number one thing.

ANTHONY

Especially when it comes to a group setting for survival.

NALEE

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

ANTHONY

Like I'm literally putting my life in your hands right now.

NALEE

Yeah. So but that's pretty much it. What about you? Would you, would you have like pre-interview before they join the group?

ANTHONY

I mean, just those questions that I told you. Like, I want to know like, what are you bringing to the table? What do you have to offer? Yeah. Have you killed how many? I think the biggest thing would be the skill set.

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

For me.

NALEE

Okay. I I don't know. I think the skill set wouldn't be isn't that big of a deal for me as far as it's more important for me to be able to trust them than for them to have a skill.

ANTHONY

Well, I do agree with the thing. Because skills can be learned.

NALEE

Skills could be learned, but trust, nah. You can't just trust anybody.

ANTHONY

Yeah, especially when it's the apocalypse. And especially if you have like Especially if we have like a fortress.

NALEE

Yeah. Okay. I have a follow-up question.

ANTHONY

Okay.

NALEE

For that question. So let's say that you have either a single mom or a dad, and they have two kids under the age of five, and they have a skill set, they're trustworthy, and they have all of the above. The only thing is that they have two kids under five. Would you be willing to let them join?

ANTHONY

What do the kids bring to the table?

NALEE

Crying and um hunger and trouble.

ANTHONY

Well, A, I'm not sharing my food. B, I ain't got time for a crying kid in the world.

NALEE

So you would not allow him to him or them or they to join the group?

ANTHONY

No, I'm just kidding. I probably would.

unknown

Okay.

ANTHONY

As long as they have something to contribute. However, you know how I feel about kids, I would have very strict rules for the kids.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

ANTHONY

Second they act up, the second they don't listen, bye.

NALEE

Feeding them to the zombies.

ANTHONY

Yep.

NALEE

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

What about you?

NALEE

Yeah, I wouldn't I would let them join. But I would be like, you're responsible to like keep them, you're responsible to shut them up. Like, yeah, I mean that's I know kids are I know kids can cry, you know, when they're hungry and stuff, but it's up to you to like take care of them. And if it becomes a problem, then there's a possibility that you go you're gonna get kicked out.

unknown

Okay.

ANTHONY

But I agree with that to an extent.

NALEE

Yeah, but then again, I don't know. I feel like I'd give them so many chances. I'd be like, quiet your child down, and then like 10 minutes later, I'd be like, okay, are they good? They good? Okay, we good, you know? Like, I don't know.

ANTHONY

I wouldn't give the option. Like, I would set I would lay the law down right off the bat.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

ANTHONY

And like, it's one of those situations where like if you don't silence your kid, I will silence them for you. Mm-hmm.

NALEE

Okay.

ANTHONY

Can't cry if they're knocked out, can they?

SPEAKER_04

Target practice.

ANTHONY

It's hey, you know what? It's the apocalypse. There's no rules, there's no laws.

NALEE

Yeah, exactly.

ANTHONY

Who you gonna call? You ain't gonna call nobody and cr cry no child abuse.

NALEE

Okay. All right. Do you have anything else to add?

Rapid-Fire Survival Choices

ANTHONY

Just for our listeners, anybody who has watched The Walking Dead, when you asked this question, I all I could think of was those two little girls.

SPEAKER_06

Hmm, yeah.

ANTHONY

That looked up to Carol as a mom.

NALEE

Yeah, yeah, yeah. And the little sister that like that got bit and then it just spiraled on.

ANTHONY

Yeah. She got bit because of her sister.

NALEE

Yeah. That was pretty sad though. That's a pretty good idea.

ANTHONY

It was really sad.

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

And then Carol happened to shoot her?

NALEE

Yeah, that was pretty sad.

ANTHONY

See, kids. Just leave me.

NALEE

I love kids, but they are a liability.

ANTHONY

They are a liability, especially in the in the apocalypse. So I would I would say that.

NALEE

Unless they're like above a certain age, I feel like maybe if they're like, I don't know, I don't know. I can't say. I feel like I feel like I say that. I feel like I say that. I feel like I say that, but I'd be very empathetic towards them. So I don't know. We'll see.

ANTHONY

I'll be empathetic towards them, but I'm not I'm not throwing my life down on the line because a five-year-old wants to cry, or a 10-year-old thinks he can shoot a gun, or a 13-year-old decides she wants to go have sex in the woods with so-and-so's son, and then they get bit by No.

NALEE

Yeah. You won't bring You gotta have strict rules around here. Yeah.

ANTHONY

You gotta be Asian.

NALEE

You can have sex inside the wall. Why would you go outside of the wall?

ANTHONY

No, you can't even do that.

NALEE

What do you mean? You can't have sex with each other?

ANTHONY

Not when they're 13 or 15.

NALEE

Oh. Oh yeah, because it's a baby. Liability. Got it. Okay.

ANTHONY

You're gonna bring a crying baby into the situation then.

NALEE

Sorry, I wasn't thinking straight. I was thinking about her doing her whole business. Think ahead. You're right. It wasn't clocking in here.

ANTHONY

And you know a 13-year-old ain't got a strong pullout game.

NALEE

Oh my god. They're gonna be like, Yeah, probably.

ANTHONY

I'm done.

NALEE

Probably, yeah. They'd be a liability. Y'all dumb kids need some like yeah, strict rules. You can't have sex until you're 18 or something. I don't fucking know.

ANTHONY

I just came across a TikTok the other day, and it was apparently, I think it's a new show on like TLC or something. There was a girl who got pregnant at was she 13 or 15? She was 15. 15.

NALEE

The one that you sent me, right?

ANTHONY

I sent it to you, yes. Yeah, she was 15 and reboard.

NALEE

He was 12?

ANTHONY

He was 12. Go back and rewatch. Yeah. I was like children having children. This is what's wrong with the world. This is why we need an apocalypse. These are the annoying people that I'm gonna be like, bye-bye. Sayanara Mamasan. Oh. Yeah, I did have a question for you. Okay, going back to that whole loyalty conversation. So somebody gets bit in your group. What are you doing?

NALEE

Bye. I'm sorry. I can't compromise everybody else.

ANTHONY

For real. For real. Okay, thank you.

NALEE

Obviously, I would try to like see if I could like save the area.

ANTHONY

Amputate them.

NALEE

Yeah, amputate them. But then the moment they'd start, like unfortunately, I would try to amputate whatever limb spot they got bit. And then I would actually keep them separate, separate, separate from the group. And then if they show progress of like healing and not nothing like zombie-like, then I'd let them rejoin. But if they start showing signs, then I'm just gonna have to have a talk with them and be like, yo, this is what it is, and you know, I'm sorry you can't come back.

ANTHONY

I wouldn't even have a talk with them.

NALEE

Oh, I would have a talk with them because they're still human, but I would for right at that moment they're still human. So I would give them the option of one, if you want me to kill you, I'll do that. If you want to kill yourself, you can do that. Or if you want to go on your own and see if you could survive, then you can do that. I will I will show them mercy.

SPEAKER_01

Go to sleep.

NALEE

Phew. Yeah. I got some tea for you.

ANTHONY

I would implement a strict rule, like you if you get bit, like from here down or like mid-thigh down, we'll amputate you and you're good to go.

unknown

Okay.

ANTHONY

If you're generous, anywhere above that mid-thigh, above here in the torso, you're out. You're generous.

NALEE

I wouldn't even go that. I would say like elbow down, knee down. Like that's it. If it's anything above that, I can't. I'm sorry.

SPEAKER_00

You're dead. Sorry. Yeah. Yeah. Okay.

NALEE

So and if it's me, and if I get put in that situation, I hope that you guys would do the same. Like, don't worry about me. Save yourself, kind of a thing. You know what I mean? Hell yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Hell yeah, I'm gonna save myself.

NALEE

Hell yeah. Bitch. But you're right. It's a the survival of the fittest. No hard feelings here. You do what you gotta do, boo. So yeah.

ANTHONY

If you think I'm gonna jeopardize my life for you.

SPEAKER_04

Think again. Let's rethink again. Yeah.

ANTHONY

Cannot trust survival of the fittest enough.

NALEE

Okay. Okay.

ANTHONY

Okay. That's all I had for.

NALEE

Okay. Well, the next one, we just have a quick here, a new, not new, but a rapid fire question of would you survive or nah? Okay?

ANTHONY

Alright. Rapid fire. No thinking. Just vibes.

NALEE

And if you if you hesitate, you eliminate it. Okay? Alright.

ANTHONY

Alright. Can I start us off here?

NALEE

Yep. Go ahead.

ANTHONY

Alright. You hear a noise outside at night. Do you A, investigate? B, lock the door, or C, cry quietly?

NALEE

B, lock the fucking door. Be honest. If you investigate, bitch, you're gone. Mm-mm. Get the fuck out of here.

ANTHONY

Here we are.

NALEE

You investigate, you with the you with the whatever you're investigating now.

ANTHONY

Yeah. You out there now, because I'm locking the door behind your ass.

NALEE

Yeah, you for the you for the streets now, not here. Okay. Your friend gets bitten but says they feel fine. A, believe them. B, tie them up or C, dramatically mon dramatically monologue.

ANTHONY

Depending on where they were bit, I'd say tie them up. Yeah. No. Are you gonna answer that?

NALEE

No. I would tie them up too. I would time them up too.

ANTHONY

Time up too.

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

All right. You find one granola bar left. Do you A, share it, B, hide it, or C, eat it while making eye contact?

SPEAKER_04

Um I would share it, but probably realistically, C, I would eat it while making it.

ANTHONY

Same. Same.

SPEAKER_04

Only one of us is surviving. A bitch is gonna be me.

ANTHONY

It's gonna be me with this goddamn granola bar.

NALEE

For real. Okay. The group votes you as a leader. A, accept, B, panic, or C, immediately abuse power. A. Okay. Yeah, I would accept it too.

ANTHONY

Yeah. Okay. You trip while running. Do you A, get up, B, accept destiny, or C, blame someone else?

NALEE

I blame someone else. No, I'm just kidding. I would immediately get up, bitch. I'm fighting for my life. Why would I just accept my destiny? Bye.

ANTHONY

That is one of my biggest pet peeves with not to steer clear from this game, but like one of my biggest pet peeves in like TV shows and movies is when people like fall or trip. It's like, bitch, you're running through the forest. You need to be on the lookout for twigs. Stop fucking looking over your shoulder. Oh, are they getting closer? Are they getting closer? Focus on the prize. Yeah. Focus on the ground. And then when they fall and they're like, oh, if I fall, I'm getting the fuck up and I'm getting back to running.

NALEE

Yeah, I'm darting. Mm-mm.

ANTHONY

Damn.

NALEE

I don't care if I broke toes. I don't care if my ankles twisted, bitch. I'm crawling. I'm running. I'm fighting for my fucking life.

Final Takeaways And Sign-Off

ANTHONY

A meant. Yes. God.

NALEE

If you accept your destiny, you deserve to die. That's what you're doing. You deserve to die. Yeah.

ANTHONY

Oh, I tripped over a branch. This is it.

NALEE

Last one here.

ANTHONY

Last one.

NALEE

You find a working car. A, save everyone. B, take one person or C. Peace out. Sorry, guys.

ANTHONY

Take one person.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

ANTHONY

No, I'm just kidding. I would save everybody.

NALEE

Yeah, I would try to get in the car.

ANTHONY

Everybody that fits in the car.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. Same.

ANTHONY

And I ain't about that life playing that game where it's like, okay, six people can fit in the car, but we got 10 people. Y'all better fucking figure it out. I'm in the driver's seat. Exactly. And I'm gonna gun it. Get in and close the door.

NALEE

I'm gonna be like Beyoncé, I ain't sorry.

ANTHONY

I ain't sorry.

NALEE

Yeah, exactly.

ANTHONY

Be like, climb up on top if you want. I don't give a shit. But this car is going.

SPEAKER_04

Exactly. Make it quick.

ANTHONY

Make it quick.

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

ANTHONY

All right. Final question for you. And be honest here. Are you surviving an apocalypse?

NALEE

Or are you a cautionary tale? I think we're surviving. I think so. Well, I think I'm surviving.

ANTHONY

I'm surviving.

NALEE

Yeah.

ANTHONY

I am about that life.

NALEE

I'm sorry.

ANTHONY

I'm sorry.

NALEE

Okay, so what we learned today is We're not surviving, but we are. Yes. We are surviving, actually. But we're also simply participating.

ANTHONY

Briefly.

NALEE

If the apocalypse happens tomorrow.

ANTHONY

Just know we tried and conquered. We'll conquer.

NALEE

Period. Emotionally?

ANTHONY

Not so much physically, but we'll get there.

NALEE

Yeah. But if you survived longer than us, which I mean, regardless, we're gonna survive. Congrats. We made it hoe.

ANTHONY

If not, meet us in the afterlife bunker.

NALEE

Period. Stay petty. Stay petty. Stay prepared.

ANTHONY

Stay prepared. And stay dramatic. That's what's up. That's what's up. The apocalypse is coming, and we're gonna survive.

NALEE

We're gonna survive. We're gonna survive. We're gonna survive. We're gonna survive. Exactly. Exactly. All right. Bye.
